The concept. The Biopsychosocial Model.

Perception, stress, expectation, and pain are not separate from the body's biology. They run through the same nervous system that also manages muscle, joints, and connective tissue. Not two systems. One, already integrated, reading and responding to itself. Clinicians call that the Biopsychosocial Model. It's the reason pain was never "just mental" to begin with. The icon draws that as a single continuous form: one shape, two textures, no seam or gap where "mind" supposedly ends and "body" begins. Underneath it: perception, stress, load, pain, adaptation. Five words for one continuous process, not five categories to sort.
